Restaurant Cal Borrasca

We had a 1 night stopover in Cardona and had dinner at this wonderful restaurant. It opened at 9pm and the 3 of us were the only diners on a Friday night. It's one of the best meals we've had in the last month in Spain and Portugal. We had the lamb and oxtail which were delicious, beautiful flavours and cooked to perfection. The desserts were also divine. Please support this small restaurant as the chef is very passionate about what he does. Thank you team for a very memorable, wonderful experience.

Small and familiar restaurant serving local food. All dishes were really tasty! They do not have a menu formula, but instated, different dishes to choose from (all of them, can be shared as well). Desserts were also really tasty! And service was extremelly friendly!

Lovely little place with an excellent and generous menu del dia. I very much enjoyed the bean salad as starter. You might struggle as a vegetarian, but otherwise I strongly recommend this as a lunch spot. Beautiful tiles, friendly service, decent wine.

This was the most delicious dinner I had in Cardona. This restaurant deserves a Michelin Star!! We dined here and have to say that these chefs know what they are doing. Food was fabulous and so unique. Love everything we ordered and how unique each dish was. Even the artichoque salad was AMAZING!! My compliments to the owner and chef. Also the staff was on point. Continue with what you are doing because it is perfect!! Make sure to take a trip to Cardona just to try this place.

Very nice experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty! Prices are on par with similar restaurants in Cardona. I'd say it's fair for the quality of the food. The restaurant is very small, so you should definitely book in advance.

Very good food. Good prices, great service. They didn't speak English but they were very kind and we made it work. Would recommend.

Very friendly welcome. Lunch menu for 16 Euro. But what a great taste of Tagliatelle and afterwards a nice piece of fish (Hake). We requested a special red Rector Ventallola) and were very happy they had it available and it was sublime. Although Parador hotel is great, this restaurant is better, more authentic.

The best meal we had in Spain wish I could give this place 6 stars. For appetizers we had the Pota de pop (grilled octopus) and Trimxat , both amazing but the highlight was the octopus. For the main course we had Lingot de xai ( lamb) and Cua de bou (ox tail) again can't go wrong with either but the lamb was the beyond amazing. The desert we picked the truffles and sorbet de llimona (lemon sorbet) to end an amazing meal all pairs with a bottle of Catalan red wine and two glasses of Ratafia as a digestive. Amazing meal, amazing experience all for around €90 for two people. Highly recommended, can't go wrong with any dish at this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
